Under the overarching theme ' In Christ Alone', this edition of Words of Life focuses primarily upon some of the life and times of Jesus, encouraging readers to see different perspectives of Christ as we journey together. The book begins by exploring the first nine chapters of Luke's Gospel, to reflect on the reality of day-to-day life for Jesus.The Easter readings have been prepared by Major Natalia Penttinen from Finland, who reminds us of the trial, Crucifixion and Resurrection of Jesus. The two other guest writers, Major Andrew and Dianne Jarvey from Australia, introduce an Antipodean flavour to our reading of the Bible.

For the weekend readings, we consider Songs of Salvation, exploring how hymn writers help us to move deeper in our faith, by highlighting some of the great hymns of the wider Church alongside significant songs from Salvationist writers.
