The exciting journey of Terry Janow's adventures in the music world. From Roswell, NM to Hollywood. Terry is an author and former Director of General Musicianship at the Grove School of Music in Los Angeles, CA where he studied with and taught for Dick Grove for over ten years.

As a woodwind artist Terry has written many original music compositions and has recorded albums internationally in the USA, Korea, and Indonesia. Terry has performed with many famous musicians such as Paul Baloche; The Temptations; Chester Thompson; Anita O'Day; and the famed New Lawrence Welk Orchestra now located in Branson, Missouri; and has received a Jazz Fellowship Award from the Nation Endowment of the Arts. Terry has been a Missionary for the Indonesian Full Gospel Fellowship in Jakarta, Indonesia, and Band Director for Sekolah Pelita Harapan, a private Christian school of over 1,500 Indonesian and International students. Terry and his wife, Mariasari, founded the Janow Academy of Music LLC, in February 2010 (janow4music.com). They are using J.A.M. to teach and develop young musicians. Terry also serves as the "Associate Pastor of Instrumental Music" for the orchestra at Hoffmantown Church in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
