To give the forms just as they appear upon the Greek page, that is, without abbreviation and without hyphens; III. To represent the language according to its actual use, and not according to the theories or fancies of the Alexandrine and Byzantine grammarians; IV. Among his numerous publications are: 'A Grammar of the Greek Language, ' 'A Lexicon to Xenophon's Anabasis, ' and 'The Anabasis of Xenophon.'
