With all the turmoil and unrest that is plaguing our nation today, it is now more imperative than ever that Christians repent, surrender to the Lord, and come together in unity to pray over America, our president, our churches and our families. While in intersession one day, the Lord laid it on my heart to write this book as He said, "My church has forgotten the need to pray against the evil forces of the enemy, and it has left them living compromised lifestyles with no power to overcome the forces of evil. My people need guidance so they will awaken and will once again surrender to Me and learn to live holy and pray fervently as I lead them." James 5:16 says, "The effective fervent (with great intensity or feeling) prayers of a righteous person accomplishes much."The prayers within this book will guide its readers to a heart of repentance as they surrender to the Lord and develop a strong, fervent prayer life which will result the godly changes we so desperately need
