The Gospel of John opens with a thunderclap: "In the beginning was the Word."

From that eternal height, John draws us into the mystery of the Incarnation. Through signs and conversations, miracles and misunderstandings, light collides with darkness, and belief is born in the hearts of those who see Jesus for who he truly is. These lessons capture the public ministry of Jesus, revealing his identity as the Son of God and calling all who encounter him to faith. From Cana's wedding feast to Lazarus's tomb, John shows us a Savior who turns despair into joy and death into life.

John 1-12 from Start2Finish is a 13-lesson journey through the first half of this Gospel and will help classes or small groups behold the glory of the Word made flesh. In the process, important principles such as the nature of true faith, the purpose of Jesus's miracles, and the call to walk in the light will be affirmed.
