THE PURPOSE of this book is to enable the reader of the Bible to study his Bible with understanding. The Bible is God's Word. As God is holy and righteous, His word is true without any contradiction. This study is based upon the truth that "we have a more sure word of prophecy" (II Peter 1:19). It is also based upon "Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation" (II Peter 1:20). Therefore, we can be assured that we have understood God's mind when our view of any part of scripture is not contradicted by any other scripture. We have no right to an "interpretation" but we have the privilege of understanding God's truth shared with His Creation and recorded in the Bible.
