Hailey taught at Abilene Christian College (now University) for 13 years, and was president of Florida Christian College for 22 years. His commentaries on the Minor Prophets (Baker Books), Isaiah, and Revelation have become standard works in many Christian Colleges. His book Notes on Mormonism was published posthumously in 2021.
