"Bread of Tears" The title is selected from the Eightieth Psalm verse Five, describing God's apportion of punishment for the children of Israel's disobedience saying: You have fed them with bread of tears, and given them tears to drink in great measure. In simple terms, there was no rest, no comfort, only loneliness and misery during their Babylonian captivity. Each time the children of Israel became disobedient to God's word, they suffered the consequences for their actions. Disobedience always brings about divine impartial punishment.
