We live in a world that's crumbling around us. The Richter scale of problems and pain is off the chart. When a nation decides to push God out, the door is left open for a life built on a 7+1 foundation (Luke 11:25).

When the Lord is waiting for someone you love at the bottom of their situation, every time you intercept them from hitting rock bottom you delay their meeting with God and themselves. Sometimes people end up lost because of our attempts to save them. As the prodigal son came to himself at the bottom of his situation so it is with some people in our lives. Where is your meeting with God scheduled? I've had my share of meetings with the Lord at rock bottom, not comfortable but sometimes necessary. Pray that the Lord doesn't set up a meeting with you at rock bottom. If you can help it, be willing to meet with him elsewhere.

Rock bottom is a modern day story from the biblical parable of the prodigal son. Just like the prodigal son, God has provided a way for us to come to ourselves and return back to him.
