Jones has tried not to bog down the reader by covering every event in the Bible. His primary goal is to point out what he calls "The Golden Thread," which indisputably ties all the events in the Bible to the progression of God's perfect plan as it moves step by step towards completion. The Golden Thread is punctuated throughout with prophecy and amazing miracles that should leave no doubt in our minds that God exists and is indisputably and actively involved in the affairs of humanity. Jones hopes to create in each reader an insatiable desire and curiosity to study the Bible in more depth.
