This is a study of intentional-disciple-making. It will be of value to church leaders, Bible study leaders, or church members with a calling to make disciples. Disciple-making is not an option. Jesus gave his Church four tasks: go, make disciples, baptize and teach. "Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." (Matthew 28:19-20)To be effective, all Christians should all have adequate, accurate and truthful knowledge of the Bible to understand and apply it correctly. "Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth." (2 Timothy 2:15)So, there is a need for strong and confident Christians that know and understand the Bible. Because: - "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge ..." Hosea 4:6The aim of this book is also to encourage Christians in their faith. Hearing, reading and studying the Gospel leads to faith and greater confidence. "Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ." (Romans 10:17) A living faith leads to deeds. "I will show you my faith by my works." (James 2:18b)
