Aidea of writing a book on the third chapter of Nehemiah, was born to me from the reflections I made one day in a regular cult, when I spoke on the sentences: Near him, near them (repeated 15 times); after him, after them (16), and the words, reparation (36) and they worked, he worked (22).The reading of this chapter, for those who read it with superficial eyes, does not present any particular attraction or interest, due to the fact that the many names that are listed usually lead the reader to get bored. However, the study and meditation that I conducted, and above all thanks to the illumination of the Holy Spirit, allowed me to plumb the depth of this text, and, through the many applications made, I was able to ascertain the spiritual richness hidden in this written, and above all the truths exposed, if they are well understood and assimilated.Repairs and work were the two words that most opened my eyes to make me understand the importance and value of taking on specific commitments in the Work of the Lord, especially when it comes to restoring a ruin produced by a prolonged conflict or discord, both within a community as well as within a family.
