Every Deed answers the question many Christians ask after they have awakened to God's grace, "So now what do I do?" We are saved by grace through faith by simply believing that God raised Jesus from the dead and confessing that He is the Lord. There is nothing we can do to improve upon what Jesus accomplished on the cross. Now that we understand that keeping spiritual disciplines and being hyper-involved in the church is not a requirement for righteousness, is the answer to do nothing?God forbid! We have been "created in Christ Jesus for good works." Every Deed encourages us in the areas of "love and good deeds." Instead of burying believers with a long list of things we must do to be "good" Christians, it liberates us to "freely give" from the treasures God has placed within our newly created hearts.
