This book, written by a retired pastor/Bible college professor is an accessible reading companion and study guide for Paul's letter to the Ephesians. The author is evangelically conservative and works with non-Calvinistic convictions. While the author respects and appreciates recent critical research into the origins and nature of Ephesians, his writing style should seem quite understandable for the average church person. The study guides after each chapter contain extra research suggestions as well as a variety of questions and ideas for group discussion.The book can be used for personal study and devotions or for group work. The author does not use the typical verse-by-verse approach that many commentaries use, but deals with each paragraph with a flowing narrative-type explanation.
