The book of Acts tells of the early church growth and the problems that it faced. Throughout the first century the news of the gospel began to spread and Christian church’s started to become established in many different places. Many gospel preachers faced opposition from preachers of other religions, and this sometimes included political persecution.

Luke, the writer of Acts was a historian, and this book not only provides historical information but also principles and lessons for modern churches to imitate as they continue to spread the apostolic gospel today.
