As Christians, we are workmen, called to service, with tasks to do. What matters is how we manage what is given. The Master is aware of our limitations. To know and embrace God's call, not merely in theory and generalities. but in a strategy of life, in the task-by-task enterprises that the Spirit will lead us through-this is our mission. We must take dominion, as God directs. We must bring focus and initiative and creativity to each day. And we must look to Jesus, author of our faith, and trust him, our mentor and friend, to bring our service to completion and to present it, completed, to the Father.
