The Hardening of Israel's Heart & The Hardening of Heart in the Church is a collection of articles that were written by Pastor Paul Hensel. In this series of articles he examines what the Bible has to say about the hardening of heart. He begins at Mt. Sinai and comments on almost all the books of the Bible. What he finds is that the hardening of heart is not reserved only for the most notorious and egregious cases. Even the sins that are committed by the elect have their effect on the health of the individual as well as the larger church body to which the individual belongs. While Hensel speaks to his own time and place, the insights that he draws out of the Scriptures are timeless. They can be applied to individuals and church bodies today.
