This is an honest book about Christianity in short form. There's a great power in words, if you don't hitch too many of them together (Josh Billings). The book title Stumbling Block or Cornerstone is obviously taken from descriptions of Jesus Christ and its name is taken from the first essay. A New Life, is a plea for honesty about conversion and our new lives in Christ. The Greatest Questions encourages and establishes the new believer. Those essays that follow deal with such difficult subjects as sin & holiness, human relationships, the fear of the Lord, being a Christian teacher, dealing with change, praying with power, the importance of miracles, the reason for prophecy, the Bible on abortion, difficulties in the Christian life and the celebration of his wonderful salvation for mankind. These short forms can obviously be read piecemeal and so offer an opportunity for easy reading. Finally, you should know, whoever you are, that I love you from the bottom of my heart
