Jesus is our High Priest according to the order of Melchizedek. This truth is established and explained by the writer of the book of Hebrews. The doctrine concerning Jesus' high priesthood-being according to the order of Melchizedek-is exceedingly difficult to interpret if the believer is dull of hearing or immature in discerning between good and evil.

However, even though the "more excellent ministry" of the Lord Jesus' Melchizedek order is difficult to understand and teach, that does not mean we should avoid beginning the process of learning about the "mature" Melchizedek priesthood-the kind the Lord expects His Body of priests to walk in, both in this present life and in the life to come.

There is a Melchizedek Order: the Mature Priesthood of our Lord Jesus Christ!
