And thus begins the Pearl of Great Price. Jesus spoke tenderly of a priceless pearl in His sermon about the Kingdom of Heaven. Jesus said that He spoke in parables to hide the secrets of the kingdom from some and reveal them to others.This does not mean His parables are full of esoteric information that only a select few can grasp.
