The book of Exodus is basically a book of History and Laws that is found in the Old Testament section of our Bible. It's the second book to be exact. It was written by Moses somewhere around 1450-1410 B.C. to record the events of Israel's deliverance from slavery in Egypt. It describes these events in chronological order and also lists the Laws that God has given to the Israelites to guide them in their relationship with Him
