Altar Call explores the important subject of the spiritual awakening grounded on the cautious reading of the book of Ezra. He affirms that the whole world needs a "heart awakening," a grand spiritual revival that will allow believers and the church to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ with value, effectiveness, dignity, and mercy.

The twenty-first century needs a new revival to move the church and its leaders to accomplish the divine assignment to encourage and implement the spiritual, social, and educative processes that society needs. To fulfill these goals, which are based on faith, we must be "awakened" from the spiritual slumber that halts and disorients.
