It was written as Jesus said:

The Father is the One who sent me. No one can come to me unless the Father draws him to me, and I will raise that person up on the last day. (John 6:44 NCV)

The Lord isn't slow about keeping his promises, (salvation) as some people think He is. In fact, God is patient because He wants everyone to turn from sin and no one to be lost. (2 Peter 3:9 CEV)

That is why it is important to pray to the Father to be drawn to Jesus, the salvation of our soul.
