What are in the names of the Bible? The question is actually a very profound one. It suggests that a name is not simply a label to distinguish something from another but it creates worth and true meaning.
What is important is the worth of the individual or thing. There is no specific name for God, and He is often referred to as the divine or the higher power. Some people believe that God cannot be named or defined, as He is beyond human comprehension. Therefore, they consider it is disrespectful or taboo to give a name to God. Whereas many people use some titles or honorifics names to refer to God such as: Lord,Creator or Almighty. Ultimately, whether or not we can name God depends on the specific religious or cultural context and the beliefs and practices associated with it. Under this specific religious Christian context namely the Bible I have made efforts to bring out the different names of God as found in the different pages of the Bible as well as in the world major religions' context. Surely and certainly this unique effort of mine will show to the readers the BIBLE's names meaning, purpose,
and destiny. Names are deeply important to human beings, a crucial way of understanding not just the world around us, but each other.
