Chris Tomlin is an American Christian music artist, worship leader and songwriter, born May 4th 1972. Chris is the son of Connie and Donna Tomlin and has two younger brothers, Ryan and Cory. Chris has been interested in music and singing from a young age and received his first Guitar from his father at the age of 11. After many years of playing the guitar and Chris wrote his first worship song at the age of 14 called Praise the Lord. Chris is also a worship leader, who is very inspirational to follows of his worship. He first began his worship teaching in the mid-1990s in Texas, where he was born and grew up.
At the same time Chris also perused his music career writing and performing songs. In 1997 Chris was also asked by Louie Giglio to work with him at the Passion Conferences, where he has played a key role and performed songs from his album Arriving, such as How Great is our God and Indescribable, which also are the names of two episodes of the passion series.

His first nationally released a solo project in 2001 titles The Noise We Make that featured songs Forever, Be Glorified and Kindness. His 2004 Album Arriving is considered his break out into worship music as it produced the hit Indescribable and How Great is Our God that were both featured in Louie Giglio's passion series.
Chris Tomlin plays the guitar and the piano. Chris’s hobbies are fly-fishing and golf, which he regular enjoys playing when he’s not on the road working.
