When is Good Friday 2021?

Aaron Lewendon - Category Manager

When is Good Friday?

This year Good Friday falls on the 2nd April. It’s the day that commemorates Christ’s crucifixion at the hands of the Romans.

“Then delivered he him therefore unto them to be crucified. And they took Jesus, and led him away. And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha“ -John 19:16-17

A day of many traditions, where you come from will undoubtedly determine how you recognise it. For some countries there are parades. For some, it’s a day off of work, and for others, it’s a time of solemn reflection and thanks.

However you choose to recognise Good Friday, this 30th of March, take a moment to think and pray to God in thanks.

And for a deeper look at the meaning of Good Friday, we have a whole host of Easter resources to guide you on your journey of faith.
