We Review Life Promises for Leaders

A little inspiration can go a long way.

The really nice thing about Life Promises for Leaders is that it doesn't matter if you only have a few moments, you can still jump into this book and close it feeling inspired. Let's face it, most leaders are busy people. I confess, I haven't read this from cover to cover - I've dipped in, time and time again. Some pages I've read multiple times, others I haven't read at all yet, it's a book to keep on your desk or beside your bed.

Life Promises is very biblically centered. It picks out and draw inspiration from bible verses, stories and events which sometimes sit alongside insights gained from looking at well known leaders of today - but the thinking always returns to the Bible and provides a challenge or question to help encourage and develop you as a leader. Any type of leader could find this useful and inspirational, no matter how many people you lead or how long you've been involved in a leadership role. It's designed to be a daily encouragement that fits into busy lives and helps add a moment of Jesus focused devotion into a leaders day and it succeeds - basically it does what it says on the cover and it's really up you how you use it. Like me, you may just want to dive in and out - or you may want to work through it day by day or maybe use it with a group of leaders, it's flexible and up to you, but I hope you feel inspired too.
