The Lord has preserved for us a record that is filled with stories and
examples so that we can learn from Him and how He worked in the
lives of others. His Word is living and active and able to change us.
The best thing we can do to experience His transforming power is
to dig into His Word for ourselves and to learn from those who
have gone before us.
This study has us examining two Old Testament stories of Habakkuk,
the prophet, and of David, the shepherd, warrior king. Both of
these stories communicate life-changing principles for us today.
This study will equip us to cultivate daily habits of declaring the
truth of God’s Word out loud, along with deliberate times of worship
and praise.
