This translation is faithful to the original text and is easier to read and understand than the commonly-used Chinese Union Version, which uses a considerably older form of the language. The translation does utilise accepted ecclesiastical and theological terminology, to ensure some degree of continuity with the widely-used and much-loved Chinese Union Version.
