The notion of "Lordship Salvation" is expressed in various ways, such as to be saved, make Christ the Lord of your life, give your life to Christ, or commit your life to Christ. However expressed, the idea is that Christ must be Lord for Him to be Savior or, as is sometimes said, if He is not Lord of all, He is not Lord at all. Is Lordship Salvation biblical?

In this booklet, Lordship Salvation: Is it Biblical? G. Michael Cocoris, an evangelist and adjunct professor of evangelism at Dallas Seminary at the time this was written, gives the five arguments used for Lordship salvation. Well-known advocates of Lordship Salvation are quoted to explain the five arguments.

The objective is to be like the believers at Berea who "were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so" (Acts 17:11).
