‘I don't know who came up with the idea [of] the dyslexic Bible, but it has made such a difference to my life this year by having it. Whoever had the bright idea and whoever said, “Yes, we should make that bright idea happen”, I owe them because it has made such a difference.’

We are happy to present the complete dyslexia-friendly collection in a handy display case.

In March 2024, Bible Society became the first UK publisher to publish the whole Bible in a dyslexia-friendly format. Each dyslexia-friendly edition follows the British Dyslexia Association's formatting guidelines.

Our dyslexia-friendly books of the Bible:

• Have single-column copy in a larger font size with generous spacing between lines
• Use thicker paper with high opacity so no text bleeds through
• Have wider margins so the text doesn’t disappear into the spine
• Feature line drawings by Annie Vallotton to help break up the text
• Follow formatting guidelines set by the British Dyslexia Association
• Break the Bible down into smaller, more manageable collections of books
• Have been developed with user experience in mind
