Thoughtfully arranged to explore the Bible as a whole the stories include Bible heroes and villains and ordinary people whom God chose to follow him: patriarchs such as Abraham, Isaac and Jacob to prophets such as Elijah, Isaiah, Jonah and Amos; and accounts from the birth, life, teaching, death and resurrection of Jesus. By engaging with the experience of believers like Job or the Psalmists who cried out to God or who wrote of their experiences of living out the Christian faith in the epistles, children are introduced to some of the most important teaching and glorious words from the Bible that often don’t become part of the fabric of young people’s lives until they later pick up a full Bible translation.
