The Lion Children's Bible is a wonderful collection of the world's greatest Bible stories retold for every child.

The most significant stories from the Old and New Testaments to the book of Acts are retold in a clear, simple, and engaging way. The language, pictures, and style will all resonate in the mind of a child.

The stories can be read a by themselves, but when linked together they form a beautiful narrative about the 'one story' of God and his people contained in the whole Bible.

Pat Alexander is a former editorial director of Lion Publishing and compiler and author of many books ranging from the best-selling Lion Handbook to the Bible to The Lion First Bible. She lives in Oxford.

Carolyn Cox has illustrated several other books for Lion. Her work includes My Book of Bible Stories, My Book of Prayers and the extremely popular First Look series.
