What can I say? How can you follow Adrian Plass with out sounding either self righteous or stupid – both of which he has something to say about! Oh well, here goes. These are very short pieces filmed on location in the Yorkshire Dales addressing all manner of subjects that can be used ‘to augment sermons and group or personal Bible studies, or as discussion starters.’ I have been privileged to hear Adrian and Bridget Plass a number of times, and so was delighted to have the opportunity to watch this DVD I was not disappointed. It was just a shame that I was on my own as each piece made me want to chip in with some thought of my own, which on reflection I decided was inappropriate and unnecessary. That is the joy of Adrian’s work – it makes you stop and think beyond your immediate response. The background scenery in many of the pieces is absolutely glorious, and some of the outtakes made me laugh out loud, but don’t get me wrong, this is serious stuff presented to be inspirational, while at the same time as being enjoyed. Will that do? Now I am going to watch it again!
