Songs in the Night

Songs in the Night is divided into three parts.'Songs in the Night', 'Ode to the Dawn', and 'Joy in the Morning'.Ana Lisa's book echoes the circle of the 'day' which contains both light and the dark.She takes comfort in the cycles of nature, the circular patterns of the day and night, the seasons; and the life cycle of humanity, and she perceives our pain, "the getting and the losing" as being no less important and relevant than our happiness.She believescontentment is possible through all the seasons, and shades of night and day, because of the goodness of God underpinning it all.
