This is a great start to the bible for young teenagers as they can learn about Biblical events through interaction with maps and diagrams and modern day stories for discussion. The text is easy to read and understand. Many pages have a box of text that reads Following God containing case studies of modern day situations that today's youth might be faced with that relate to stories and individuals form the Bible. These modern day case studies allow teenagers to answer question and discover how to be a better person when faced with a difficult situation.

My son has this NCV and I have found it's a really great way to get teenagers interested in bible study. It is filled with facts which help with general knowledge as well as biblical background and context. It's no surprise to me that it is a best seller for school and church presentations!
