A Book of Condolence

Full Product Description

An increasingly common response to an individual's death or a tragedy is the signing of books of condolence which are made available in churches, civic offices, shops or are circulated among local communities

It is not simply celebrities who deserve to be remembered in this way, but family members, friends, colleagues and associates too. This high quality volume, bound in dark blue leather and hand crafted calligraphy, is designed for private or institutional use. Personal remembrances may be recorded on the fineblade cartridge pages which are tastefully decorated in calligraphy.

A Book of Condolence by Margaret Morgan was published by Canterbury Press in September 2002 and is our 5987th best seller. The ISBN for A Book of Condolence is 9781853114854.

Product Q&A

Got a question? No problem! Just click here to ask us about A Book of Condolence.

Need to know a bit more about this book. How many pages? How is the layout - is there a space for signatures with a space for thoughts and prayers? Are there any pictures in this book? What colour are the pages?

A:Hi Natalie. This book has 128 pages and, according to the publisher "it offers space for the recording of personal remembrances and is designed for private or institutional use." That pages are white and, as far as I know, contain no images. Thank you for using the Q&A Forum. Aaron

How are the pages laid out and what do they look like?

A:The front page is set out with 'Book of Condolence' at the top of the page. Then on separate lines beneath 'in memory of 'born' and 'died'. Below this is a single small black diamond shape. The final line at the bottom of the page is 'We shall remember them' Laurence Binyon. The entry pages are plain except for two black horizontal lines, one at the head and one at the foot of the page. At the end (but not connected to) each line is a small black diamond shape.
