Philippians: Finding Unity and Maturity in the Body of Christ

A deep friendship had developed between Paul and these special people at Philippi. In this letter of four chapters totaling 104 verses, the Apostle Paul expressed his abiding love for his Christian brothers and sisters in Philippi. It is what I believe our Father intended for His Church - Pastor and people joined in a love relationship that the world can't understand and one that is very close to His relationship to His Son, Jesus.
Everyone is waiting to hear what Paul has written to us. Even though it was several years ago that we sat and listened as he shared the word of God with us it is as if it was yesterday. We heard he was arrested and thrown in jail and we sent items several times that we thought would be helpful to him. We even sent our beloved Epaphroditus to help Paul any way he could. The room grows quiet as we anxiously wait for those first words. The parchment is opened and the reader begins.
