      Product Description

Everyone faces challenges of varying magnitudes. There is nobody who is exempted or insulated from challenges. Sometimes there are almost instantaneous phases of life in which there seems as if there is no challenge. I used the word 'instantaneous' in order to give an impression of how short-live such moments are.I heard my close friend talking about how people like Paul went through a series of challenges. When one would end another would begin. It was like a chain reaction. That was how his life always was. For instance, after he escaped unhurt from a shipwreck he ended up on an island. There he preached the Good News to a group of people. All of sudden a snake curled around his arm and struck him. He shook it off into a nearby fire and continued preaching the Good News as if nothing had happened. The venom of the snake didn't harm him. His audience thought he was going to drop down dead but nothing of that sort happened. One lesson I drew from the incident is that though Paul faced one challenge after another he didn't keep his mind glued on what he was going through. He just moved on in his mission of spreading the Good News. His challenges were of non-effect.I believe if Paul had kept his mind on his circumstances they would have worsened. For instance, the snake poison would have killed him. He would have gone to be with the Lord much sooner than he was meant to. It's possible that Paul must have suddenly heard the Word reminding Him that those who believe shall pick up serpents and if they take in any deadly thing it shall not harm them (Mk 16:18). He trusted this Word so much that it was more real to him that what had happened. He knew the Word as the truth. It doesn't lie.He knew he was putting on the whole armour of God. He was putting on the truth, the righteousness, the Gospel, the faith, the salvation, the sword given by the Spirit and praying in the Spirit. He was aware of the Lord's provision and protection. That's why he managed to stand and remain standing. He never gave up because he knew what he was carrying. He was armed with heavy defensive and offensive spiritual warfare gear. With that kind of stuff he was more than a hundred percent sure that he was more than a conqueror. He knew that nothing could stop him; he was unstoppable; he was invincible. Whatever would seem to be going wrong didn't make a difference at all. It could not move him even a bit. This book is about how you can be as strong in the Lord in spite of what you are going through. That's the best way to experience a victorious life. You don't have to glue your mind on your challenges. If you are strong in the Lord you will definitely prevail over circumstances. It's not a coincidence that the amour of God has seven components. Whenever the Lord sevens something it is significant. Seven signifies completion or perfection. That means you must not neglect any one of the seven components of the armour of God otherwise it wouldn't be complete. It won't work for you as it's meant to. That does not complicate things at all because the components of the armour are very closely related. In fact, in this book I also referred to the armour of God as the armour of light or the Lord Jesus Christ. Every component of the armour has to do with Jesus Christ. The truth is Christ; righteousness is of Christ; the Gospel is of Christ; salvation is by Christ; the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word, is Christ; praying in the Spirit is of Christ who is always making intercession for us. That seventh component of praying in the Spirit cements and seals all the components together; when we engage in praying in the Spirit we engage in the main way which connects us to all the components. After all the armour of God isn't a physical attire. It's a spiritual armour for spiritual warfare. The first place for you to put on this armour is your spirit being. That's very important
