Rescue from Death: The Good News of John 3:16

JOHN 3:16-TRUE LOVE, TRUE JUSTICE

All over the world people cry out for justice that is true and equitable. Divine justice is also essential and will ultimately be fulfilled in what the Bible calls the day of judgment. John 3:16 beautifully captures the love and justice of God. Out of love, the Father sent the Son to die on our behalf so that whoever puts their trust in Him will have eternal life. The common evangelical practice, however, has been to teach that perish in John 3:16 means suffer forever in hell. But what if perish means perish?
