Its About The Students

Imagine a classroom filled with forty students, all of whom are characters in the Bible. Of course, it would be nice if all the students were like Ruth or Jesus, but that wouldn't be fair. Or real. You'll always have your impetuous Peters, self-promoting Judases, or bullying Jezebels. You'll find these and more on the pages of this devotional book.

But this isn't just about the students. It's about the Master Teacher. And it's about you, the teacher who is also a student of the Master. God has left us a legacy of learning. May God grant you the ability to learn from Jesus, from biblical characters, and from your students.

The devotions presume background knowledge of the "students." Many are well-known. Some might make you want to read more about them to get a better understanding of their role in God's history of salvation. Extended Bible reading suggestions appear at the end of each meditation.
