Why do many Christians frequently lose? because they don't pray enough. Why do so few people, in the eyes of the majority of Christians, come from the shadows into the light via their ministry? because they don't pray enough. Why aren't our churches just ablaze with the love of God? due to the dearth of genuine prayer. We can be confident of the following: Our inability to pray in private is the source of all failure. This book delves deeply into God's amazement at our lack of prayer, God's amazing promises to those who do pray, God's requirement for signs, God's desire for genuine prayer, and God's viewpoint on obstacles to prayer. The Lord Jesus is still as potent now as ever. The Lord Jesus is still as eager as ever for people to be rescued. His arm has not been cut too short. But until we pray more fervently and frequently, He won't extend His arm.
The most noble, majestic, and astounding act that any creature of God can accomplish is true prayer.
