Judaism believes messiah to be a righteous king who will be sent by God to unite people all over the world regardless of race, culture or religion. However, many Jews still have the false expectations that Messiah, the expected king, will be of the Davidic line and would deliver Israel from foreign bondage and restore the glories of its golden age. Jesus is regarded by Christians as the Messiah of the Hebrew prophecies and the savior of humankind.
After his second coming Jesus will rule by divine law as revealed in Quran and will save mankind from the destruction wrought by the forces of evil. He will thus be the messiah during the last era for mankind on the planet. Barnabas was closest of twelve disciples of Jesus. Jesus asked Barnabas to write his gospel after his departure from the world. Unlike four canonical gospels the teachings of prophet Jesus in Gospel of Barnabas are authenticated by Quran.
