Theo and God's grace: new animated Bible DVD

Theo ‘God’s Grace’ is the latest release in new animated DVD series for children who already love ‘What’s in the Bible’, ‘Auto B-Good’ and of course ‘Veggie Tales’.

Using the charming animated style of the great Disney classics, Theo presents children with easy-to-understand story illustrations of the great truths of the Christian faith.

Staying close to the Bible

Capturing young minds and hearts with humour and high quality animation, main character Theo and his mouse helpers Luther and Belfry explore explore key Christian themes and behaviours.

Simply explained by Theo and his mouse helpers, three short episodes of each DVD stay close to the Bible's words and text while children learn the real Good News about Jesus.

Beautifully drawn and voiced

In short, age appropriate episodes, the beautifully drawn and voiced characters relate Bible stories and their meaning with animated versions of the actual Bible  text.

Staying closer to the Bible accounts than some other animated DVDs for children, the adventures of the characters as they live out the Bible themes relate directly to the stories they explore.

Simple setting and gentle pace

By setting the series in the most idyllically drawn chocolate box picture of an English country cottage, the series has a gentler pace and delivery than more harsh and brash offerings aimed at children.

Theo is a series that allows children to take their time without having to get hyped up and sucked in to a world of talking fruit, cars or catchy songs. This is a series that respects the Bible without disrespecting children’s intelligence and their ability to understand what’s being said.

Let's the Bible do the talking

Theo allows the Bible to do the talking without putting words into its pages. The new DVD, ‘God’s Grace’ includes 3 short animated episodes plus a bonus ‘Good News’ feature:

  • Armour of God - teaches what each piece of the armour of God represents and how to use them in our Christian life to fight.
  • Redemption - Theo redeems Luther and Belfry from old Scratch the cat to illustrate how God bought back the lost through the death Jesus.
  • New Birth - Theo’s lovable mouse helpers and pupils, Luther and Belfry, learn as Theo explains what it means to be "born again."

Child Evangelism Fellowship

Theo DVDs are partnered with Angel Tree, a ministry of Prison Fellowship, with Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) spreading the gospel to children in over 175 countries.

In their last ministry year, CEF workers worldwide reached almost 11 million children.
