What is YHWH....?
YHWH is another name for God and is originated from the Hebrew language, which is pronounced by many as 'Yahweh' or 'Jehovah' which has been derived from the Latin form. In English, YHWH is used via both in terms of capital letters and lower case letters and is rendered as the term 'the Lord'.
Ancient Mysteries Retold, the Heart of YHWH....
G.P Taylor, author of the international best seller Shadowmancer and respected author and jounalist Paula K. Parker, comes YHWH, The Flood, The Fish and The Giant.
In a world where Children are probably more familiar with Harry Potter than Jesus, its often hard to encourage them to read the Bible in its traditional
form. YHWH introduces the wonderful Bible stories to them in a way that captures their imagination YHWH is based on the scripture but adds description and other allegory to make the stories come alive.
The project is supported by Walk Through the Bible Ministries who teach the Bible to over 40,000 school children each year. It could be used by Christians as a tool for evangelism and would be ideal as a gift for children and young people unfamiliar with the classic Bible narratives.

'With creativity, Graham Taylor takes ancient stories with timeless principles and brings them to life. A refreshing experience to read'
Unsurprisingly I find that its written firmly from the point of view of a believer. Im about to publish a book myself called The Good Man Jesus and the Scoundrel Christ, which is firmly from the opposite point of view. Given that, I can hardly see that a commendation from me would do you any good at all. I wish you luck with this.
Philip Pullman. Author The Amber Spyglass.
In this wonderful book, GP Taylor has unearthed some great, lost treasures of the Bible and polished them with his own extraordinary gift of storytelling, causing them to sparkle again for a generation that has so often forgotten these brilliant gems. This book is a treasure chest. Cup your hands and dig deep.
Dr Mark Stibbe, bestselling author and founder of the Father's House Trust
"Fascinating and powerfully written, The Flood, The Fish, & The Giant captures the imagination and tells the human saga in the midst of God's story. A triumph."
Chris Coppernoll, Screenwriter
In a world where the Bible is often a dusty book at the back of a cupboard, we need new ways of engaging with the Bibles characters and stories. GP Taylor keeps to the text but retells the story in a modern idiom, holding the attention of the reader and renewing the story once again. This book could bring the Bible alive again for children and remind them of the treasures in store in the actual Bible.

YHWH: The Flood The Fish & The GiantMary Bartholomew, via The Good Book Stall
These Bible stories keep amazingly close to the originals but are told with a freshness that is a pleasure to read. The familiar characters are shown in the stories as normal human beings with emotions and reactions with which we are familiar. Somehow they are given a reality that young people will recognise and empathise with. The story of Samson and Delilah particularly attracted my attention and I just had to turn to the Bible and read it in there. YHWH: The Flood The Fish & The Giant will fire your own imagination and are Highly recommended. I just hope the authors will retell some more of these stories in the same way.
