The Wisdom House
Full Product Description
In 'The Wisdom House' Rob Parsons invites readers into his study as he openly shares with his grandchildren the wisdom he's picked up down the years.
On the spur of the moment, the morning after the birth of one of his grandchildren, Rob Parsons wrote the baby a letter.
And then Rob began to think about how he hoped he'd have the chance to talk with all his grandchildren as they grew. He imagined them coming into his study, settling into one of the two comfy armchairs in front of the fire and opening up about the challenges they were facing.
That's exactly what you'll find inside 'The Wisdom House'… Rob's answers to life's challenges. Inside you'll find everything he wants to impart to his grandchildren, including:
- Dealing with success and failure
- Balancing faith and doubt
- Living through stress and work
- Rising above betrayal
- Being defined by love
No matter how old you are the contents of this wonderfully simple book will enrich your mind and strengthen your faith.
The Wisdom House by Rob Parsons was published by Hodder & Stoughton General Division in October 2014 and is our 16078th best seller. The ISBN for The Wisdom House is 9781444745665.

The Wisdom HouseAllison Carroll, via The Good Book Stall
What a wonderful book! Amusing, insightful and above all an absolute pleasure to read.
This book is something that everyone over the age of 15 should make time to read.
The wisdom it shares is something that we all will or have experienced at some point in our lives. The questions it raises we have all asked at some point, and if we haven’t then we will.
Yet here is a little book of huge wisdom that is told with humour and insightfully shares the reality of life. Why it isn’t fair, why it doesn’t always go to plan, what forgiveness means and many other daily struggles.
As a counsellor I can honestly say I will be sharing this book with clients and passing on some of the words of wisdom I have found within its covers.
