Spiritual Reformation: The Story of OMJackie Rowe, via The Good Book Stall
I have had links with Operation Mobilisation and George Verwer for many years, and this group of enthusiasts has always been an inspiration to me. Ian Randall has written a book of great width and depth, spanning the early days, when George and some college friends ventured into Mexico up to the present day when workers have fanned out all over the world. Over the intervening years 120,000 young people from more than a hundred nations have been involved in outreach with OM. There have been massive, challenging steps of faith - such as in 1970 when the first OM ship, The Logos, was bought, with the last 30% of the purchase money coming in at very much the 'eleventh hour'. The passion for whole-hearted commitment to Jesus and daring discipleship shines through this book.
