Full Product Description
This is the empowering new book by bestselling Christian writer, R. T. Kendall. All of us have fallen short of God`s standards, and it may be that you have fallen further than most. It is easy for you, and those who know you, to believe that you have blown your chance to fulfil God's plan for your life.
But God has not finished yet! He is the God of second chances. His love is everlasting and unconditional, no matter what we have done to grieve him in the past. The path to restoration will not be easy but, through faith, God can use you again.
Second Chance by R T Kendall was published by Hodder & Stoughton in February 2008 and is our 7741st best seller. The ISBN for Second Chance is 9780340954928.

Second ChanceJackie Scott, via The Good Book Stall
We live in an age that demands our politicians be whiter than white. The church is under this same judgement – our church leaders are expected to be above reproach. So what happens when they fall? How can they come back to relationship with Christ? How can they be restored? R T Kendall handles this in his book fully with clarity, a sound scriptural basis and with sensitivity. None of us want to be seen to make mistakes in our Christian lives; we’ve possibly become good actors in our church lives to hide indiscretions that we know God would not like. The author encourages us to see these mistakes for what they are - sins against God – and sets about showing how we can be restored or how we can support and help others who need restoration. I found the book overlong, but it is balanced and careful in its use of Biblical examples such as David and Jonah; great men who fell, were restored but also lived with the consequences of their mistakes. Although, the book is written primarily for leaders it is also relevant for all Christians, and is a salutary read.
