The author’s aim is to enable those who take part in this study guide to really feel as if they are present with Jesus at the time the story told in Luke’s gospel was unfolding. Thus, the book’s subtitle emphasising the land, the personalities and the language. Two introductory chapters which immerse the participants in Luke’s text are followed by seven studies of the major themes.
