Making Sense of Bible DifficultiesChris Moore, via The Good Book Stall
This is an abridged and revised edition of When Critics Ask, originally published in 1992.
It is common knowledge that the Bible is a book which can often confuse, and there are many who would point to perceived contradictions, impossibilities and inconsistencies. This book is intended to give answers to such issues from a conservative viewpoint (for example, Isaiah is held to be written by a single author).
The book is not intended to be read from cover to cover, but rather comprises a number of questions and answers which are arranged from Genesis to Revelation. The answers given reflect a Southern Baptist viewpoint, and as such will not be to everyone's taste. However, the book is a useful guide to this theological viewpoint and a sustained worked example of the doctrine of Biblical inerrancy.
